Hi, I’m Teresa Greco, and I

The Turning Point In My Life

There was something about turning 40 years old that made me reevaluate my life. Some people might call it a midlife crisis, but for me, it was an opportunity to start asking some very important questions about my life. Realizing that half my life had been lived (hopefully anyway) and wondering if this was all there was.  I began asking questions like,  “Is this all there is to life?” “Where is my life going?”  “Am I happy in the life I am living?”  “Can I imagine myself living the same life for another 40 years?”  and, most importantly, there was the question, “Am I living my life’s full potential and purpose?” I felt as though something was missing. But what?

On the outside, you could say my life looked pretty perfect:

a great career, a healthy family, our own home, two cars in the driveway, a vacation a year. So, it was confusing to me why there was this feeling that there must be more to life than just this when my life checked off all the boxes everyone tells you you should achieve to live a happy life.

In trying to please everybody else by being the perfect mom, wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, employee, etc., I wasn’t honouring, respecting, and most of all, loving myself. I had allowed society, culture, religion, and family and friends to tell me who to be. And because of that, I was always looking outside myself for happiness. Through the various practices and principles I write and coach about, I realized that true happiness resides inside yourself and not external to you in your possessions, titles, degrees, positions, or relationships. True inner happiness is unwavering, and you can choose to be happy even when your external circumstances may not necessarily be the way you want them to be. Learning about the immense unconditional love that resides inside me made me realize that instead of being my best cheerleader, I had been my worst critic and biggest enemy. Once I made the decision to go deep and work on myself, the issues I had in my personal and work relationships all seemed to go away.  It all starts inside of us first.

With commitment and self-love, I reclaimed my life and arrived at true inner happiness by following the principles and practices I share as a happiness coach. After years of study and practice, I feel strongly that what I have learned and how I was able to heal is now my life’s mission to help others do the same.

As a happiness expert, I practice what I teach: everything from gratitude, compassion and forgiveness to rewiring the brain, breaking habits, and changing paradigms. When life wants to throw me off balance, I immediately practice the strategies that help me to stay grounded and centered and bring me back to who I really am, which is love, peace and happiness. Allow me to show you how you can do the same!

Love Ourselves

Loving ourselves is the ongoing action of self-love and self-care in our everyday life and everyday choices — from what we decide to eat, to who we decide to love and surround ourselves with, and to how we see and treat ourselves.

Honour Ourselves

Recognize that you don’t need to do more or be more. You are perfect and whole just as you are. Stop breaking the promises you’ve made with you. Awaken to how you’ve been your worst critic instead of your greatest cheerleader.

Respect Ourselves

Coming to know your non-negotiables and teaching others how to treat us because of how we treat ourselves. Not tolerating certain behaviour from others. Seeking less approval and validation from others. You’ll be more gentle with yourself and more forgiving. Believing you deserve more, better, different.
